“Who has been with me for years? Who has been there to wipe away the tears? My Mother”…these words were written many years ago to my Mom as a part of a tribute. I can think of no greater joy in my own life than that of being a mom.

I had the best Mother’s Day this year! My oldest and I baked our very first lemon meringue pie. The extra time it took by explaining each step was worth every second for the memories we will always have. Bonus, it was gluten free and delicious!! Although we didn’t manage to snap a picture during the baking process I did catch one just before dessert was served.
